Wondering what it takes to teach a course online? Join us for a two-part series that explores strategies, planning, and resources for online teaching.

The Spring 2010 series will include both online and in-class activities to create a hybrid learning experience. Video-conferencing can be arranged for participants on regional campuses.
Before and between the workshop sessions, participants will participate in online activities using Carmen. Information about these activities will be communicated in ways congruent with what might be used for a hybrid or online course. Expected time commitment would be no more than 1 hour.

Time: 10 a.m. – noon
Location: Science & Engineering Library, Rm 070.
Summary: Learn how to plan and implement your transition to teaching online, including developing online activities and materials that meet course objectives.**You may wish to go online during parts of these workshops. If so, please bring your own laptop computer and be sure to activate your OSU wireless account prior to attending. A limited number of laptaps are available for checkout at the Digital Union by prior arrangement.
Seating for these workshops is limited and registration is required. Participation in both sessions and in the related online activities is expected. Depending on registration numbers and interests, you may be placed on a waiting list.

For best results, we recommend that participants have a specific course in mind when they register.
